Waterproofing and coating of silo roofing and grain feeders.
Works carried out:
- Application of bituseal to all roof fixings as these were found to be the cause of water ingress into the silos, causing massive losses to stored product.
- Once the bituseal was applied, the roof was then two coated with an aluminum paint to ensure longevity and protection of the pre-existing, and new, waterproofing.
- Feeder shoots were treated for rust, primed and finally given two coats of white epoxy.
