Vertical Logic was tasked to remove the old hotel signage and install new, once it had been fabricated.
The project had it’s complexities in such that the old and new signage could not simply be disconnected and lowered / lifted. Instead it needed to be moved outwards off the support arms and then lowered / lifted.
To overcome this, Vertical Logic designed and fabricated a jib arm / boom that would be temporarily fixed to the structure and used as the anchor for the lifting / lowering system. The design allowed for lateral movement using a beam crawl.
