Site: Sheraton Heights Residential Block
Date: March 2022
Vertical Logic was tasked to apply waterproofing material to the roof section of a residential block of flats, located in Cape Town CBD.
Vertical Logic opted to go with heat-fused membrane provided by A.b.e Construction Chemicals. Specific product used is Index 4mm membranes.
Scope included:
- Removal of old waterproofing where applicable
- Cleaning and preparing surface for priming
- Priming with A.b.e bitu-prime
- Application of heat-fused membrane using gas torches.
- Counterflashing vertical upstands and walls
