Installation of all high rise signage located on Portside Building.
Works carried out:
Installation of all high rise signage which included the following:
- Large FNB lettering and logo set, facing Harbor.
- Small FNB leterring and logo set, facing Woodstock.
- Wesbank letters, facing Table Mountain.
- RMB letters and logo, facing Sea Point.
Given the height of the building, hauling from the ground up was not a possibility as this posed a large risk to the glass facades of the building. The signage therefore had to be broken up into sections that were carried to the roof, assembled and then installed onto pre-installed rails attached to the buildings structure.
